About the Jean Monnet Project
The Jean Monnet Action "Understanding European Integration" is a European Commission information project, undertaken at the request of the universities, whose aim is to facilitate the introduction of European integration studies in universities by means ofstart-up subsidies. The term European integration studies is taken to mean the construction of the European Community and its related institutional, legal, political, economic and social developments.

Every year the Department organizes two Jean Monnet Seminars in Dubrovnik.

Jean Monnet Module Advanced Issues of European Law [More information]
In academic year 2001/2002 a Jean Monnet Module was introduced to the Law School curriculum. The Module is approved and sponsored by the Jean Monnet Project. The Module is taught by Profs. Siniša Rodin and Tamara Ćapeta.

Jean Monnet Module: National Courts as European Courts [More info]
In academic year 2005/2006 new Jean Monnet module was approved by the European Commission. The module is taught by Tamara Ćapeta and Sinisa Rodin. Several visiting professors will teach within the module. Their names and dates of their classes shall be announced upon confirmation.

Jean Monnet Visiting Lecturer Series
Every academic year a number of visiting professors are invited to give a lecture or a seminar within the Program. Visiting lectures are announced at the Start Page.

Jean Monnet Short-term Research Visitor Programme [Contact: Snježana Vasiljevic]
Chair of European Public Law and Jean Monnet Programme are inviting young researchers to apply for a short-term research visit. Sucessful applicants will have access to research infrastructure and an opportunity to share academic experience of the Department.
Applicants have to be LL.M., doctoral students or post-doctoral professionals, and have to submitt a CV, a transcript, a research plan, a letter of motivation and two references. Applications have to be submitted at least 6 months before the intended visit. Basileus project funding is availible for this activity. Students and researchers from Western Balkans are encouraged to apply.
